Invaluable! Thank you! 💚

Just finished recording my audiobook last week and I wish I could have read this beforehand! But also ditto this advice! I found my reading groove by imagining I was talking to my clients…since most of the book is what I have said to them before! That helped it feel more natural for me.

That makes so much sense, and what a lovely mindset to bring into your recording!

I have pre-ordered your book . . . and accessed the chapters. I read a few pages and remembered why I don't like reading a good book that way. Books like yours need to be held, crawled into with a pencil, a highlighter and even a pen if that's what i have. It's my own book and I can do what I want. Don't hate me now! Oh, and a few of those tiny post-it tabs to mark where I want to go back and savor a sentence, a paragraph, a whole page. I'll tear open the package when it comes, hold it in my hand, sniff the new-book fsmell, and turn the first page. I'll start out with a bookmark, but misplace it numerous times and I might have to turn down the corner of a page. (pretend I just didn't say that.)

And now I'll read this post - actually I'll skim it and come back to it later. It's 11 am and I am still not dressed because I got inspired and wrote into the night/morning and anyway i lost my phone yesterday.. I'm retired, I can now be the night person I always was. Midnight is early for me. I did not go to bed at midnight:)

The phone? I found it in the freezer in the garage refrigerator. It all makes kinds of sense now, but details don't matter at the moment!

Oh I’m with you completely—underlines, marginalia, earmarks are the highest praise of writing in my book!

Relax… That word is following me around lately. In my writing, in my tennis game, in my business planning, in my school work. Thanks for another reminder to relax!
