🌟 Join me live tonight!
We're gathering for our Candlelit Close Reading of Even After Everything
Tonight! We’re meeting by candlelight from my library for some readings and discussion about our chapters from Even After Everything, poetry, and life/writing prompts. If you’re craving some stillness and a rare reflective moment in the fray that is December, I hope you’ll join us. We’ll be talking about Advent, the winter solstice, and the spiritual practice of naming the night as we walk toward the light.
This live Zoom gathering is open to all paid subscribers. You can join anytime, and cancel anytime. I might suggest bringing a notebook, and a candle of your own, if you like (not required, just cozy!).
Until then, a poem from Wendell Berry—
To Know the Dark by Wendell Berry
To go in the dark with a light is to know the light.
To know the dark, go dark. Go without sight,
and find that the dark, too, blooms and sings,
and is traveled by dark feet and dark wings.
🌟 Here’s our link for this evening—see you soon!
